Types of myositis

Symptoms of myositis

The main causes of myositis can include autoimmune disorders, infections (viral, bacterial, or fungal), and certain medicines. However, in many cases the exact cause is not known.
Treatment of Myositis
- Medications: Steroids and immunosuppressant drugs are given to control inflammation and the immune system.
- Physical therapy: Physical therapy is very important to increase muscle strength and flexibility.
